Stephanie and Ryan’s Wentworth by the Sea wedding was an absolute dream of mine to capture and holds a special place in my heart since my husband and I almost got married there as well. It was the most perfect spring day in June for a wedding: blue skies, fluffy white clouds, and plenty of sun. Stephanie and Ryan are wonderfully genuine people so it was so easy to connect with both of them. In fact, Stephanie was a very hands on bride and included me in the planning from the start, which I loved! It was so fun getting sneak peeks of her details throughout the process. By the time we got to Wentworth by the Sea I felt like I had been there with them all along!
Spring in New England can be a bit of a gamble, but these two really lucked out weather wise. Their outside ceremony overlooked the Piscataqua River, set against a little harbor of sailboats and beach. Quintessential New England, which was the perfect backdrop for Stephanie and Ryan as a couple because they are so classically New England themselves. Stephanie’s dress was timeless, minimal, and elegant and her long veil added that romantic touch.
Their ceremony was followed by a tented reception on the lawn of the country club. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with lawn games before the big party kicked off full of heartfelt speeches, a few tears, and much laughter. Once people hit the dance floor, guests also enjoyed a cigar bar on the lawn. Stephanie and Ryan ended the evening with a sparkler exit before heading off to wedded bliss. Congratulations you two. I loved being part of your day!
