This past Sunday I attended The Flourish Workshop in Somerville and got to be a part of the Warehouse XI wedding styled shoot! The styled shoot had a tropical vibe that brought me back to my recent trip to Mexico – see here. I had been following the ladies who pulled the workshop together for quite some time. It was so great meeting each of them in person. What an honor to learn from these four lady bosses one on one in this Boston industry!
There were four different subjects we went over, and then we capped the day with a Warehouse XI wedding photoshoot! Blogging, Social Media, Finance, and Creative Direction were the focus points they touched on. I walked away feeling ready and excited for the 2017 wedding season. If you are a wedding vendor and you have the chance to attend a workshop with the ladies in the future, I highly encourage taking the opportunity!

The vendors we worked with for the photoshoot:
Model: Katie Liston with New England Models Group
Florist: The Wild Dahlia
Venue: Warehouse XI
Makeup & Hair Artist: Amanda McCarthy Beauty
Dress: Flair
Rentals: Be Our Guest
Vintage: Rust and Luxe
The two ladies of The Wild Dahlia put together some stunning florals that really captured that oasis island vibe the workshop had. As Shannon said herself when we walked in the door, “We wanted it to feel like a mini vacation!” I know were all anxious for Summer to arrive already!
Our model Katie had an old romance about her look. Her demeanor was soft and elegant; what I feel was perfect for my style of work! Look at how she gently places her hands in each photograph.
