Jess and Steve had their spring Riverview Wedding in May on a romantic, rainy day. Getting married in the rain meant snuggling close under an umbrella. As soon as Jess and I got on the phone to talk about her wedding we instantly connected. I felt like we had been friends since childhood. Jess and Steve are an easy going, genuine and goofy couple. I loved watching their large wedding party all interact during the day and seeing how close each and every one of them were.
Jess had been planning her Riverview wedding day since she was just a little girl and knew she would have the color purple throughout. From her shoes to her flowers, the pop of purple provided a gorgeous contrast against her dress! Her and Steve had their ceremony in the tent at The Riverview and reception to follow in the ballroom. They had a classic style with adorable floral filled lanterns and boxes alternating on the tables. And the cutest part? Every guest had a little dog cookie favor with their wedding date and pup!
As the night came to a close the rain cleared up so we could pop outside for a few minutes to take some portraits with the gorgeous towering trees and river as their backdrop. I loved watching the way Steve looked at Jess throughout the day. They were both full of smiles and joy all day long. Congratulations to the married couple!
