Dan & Marisa had their Hardy Farm wedding on August fourth in the beautiful Mt. Washington Valley. They’ve known each other for almost two decades! Years after high school Dan and Marisa saw each other in 2013 at RiRa’s while they were both living in Portland. They eventually started dating and bonded over their love for dogs, walking on the Portland Trails, and exploring the state of Maine. The wedding day was filled with a lot of laughter, extravagant views, gorgeous decor, and a really fun group of tight night family and friends.

I easily connected with these two because of their love for dogs, traveling and Harry Potter (mostly Marisa there 🙂 ) Marisa is fun, hilarious and one of the most caring brides I have worked with. She is a teacher and you could see it flow out of her as she took care of each and every one of her guests throughout her wedding day. Dan is quiet until you get to know him or have him with his friends watching football. He is kind and considerate. Marisa is the more outgoing of the two, and can often be found trying to get Dan to try new foods or travel to new locations.

Marisa wore a Watters princess style gown from Andrea’s Bridal that made her look like a queen. They dressed Gryff up in an adorable bow tie complementing their attire. The three of them were picture perfect.

We had a torrential downpour of rain the morning of their Hardy Farm wedding day, but the sky’s cleared out beautifully around noon. They held their Hardy Farm wedding ceremony in the classic white painted barn. Gryffindor the Westie was a part of their “I Do’s” at the aisle, as well as a page from Harry Potter which made me tear up. They even ended the ceremony with singing the song “Grow Old with You” from the Wedding Singer! How much adorable can it get?! Probably my favorite ceremony to date.

Wanna see the most beautiful sunset!? Scroll to the end of Marisa and Dan’s photos. We braved the mosquitos, probably walking away with 20-30 bites each, and pranced through the fields. As the sun started dipping lower and lower our mouths just dropped at the sight of the view. The fog rolled in so quickly and we were quickly wrapped in a movie setting.

This day was more than I could have dreamed of and I hope it was the same for you two, congratulations!
