Kelly and Peter’s Boston College wedding was a classic affair with so much emotion! Interested in seeing what two people in love look like? Then look no further. July 20th was on record one of the hottest Summer days of 2019, but that did not stop these two from having a blast and looking perfect together.

I first talked to Kelly about her Boston College wedding day when I was in England with my husband, and our phone call was such a breathe of fresh hair. From the beginning to the  end of my whole experience with these two I have felt like a friend. They are so good at inviting people into their world and making them feel comfortable and appreciated. This made their engagement session so easy because they were both able to be completely themselves. These two encompass what joy looks like.

The wedding day was classic and timeless with an elegant city feel. They chose lots of greenery and white florals to keep the room simple, and so the view of the city was the main focus. Every detail was thought through, from the custom laser cut names on each place setting, to the bridesmaid’s monogramed t-shirts, to Kelly’s personalized ring box.

From the very beginning stages of planning we talked about what Pete’s face would look like as Kelly walked down the aisle at their ceremony. This moment was important to them as they had a classic Catholic Mass and are very traditional at heart. Peter’s reaction did not disappoint. He radiated with joy and the tears were there. After their ceremony we traveled to the Boston Public Garden and did their portraits before heading to the Boston College Club.

During one of the speeches at Kelly and Peter’s wedding it was said that Kelly’s super powers are selflessness and connecting with others and I absolutely agree. When I asked them to describe their personalities, Kelly said that Peter is very level-headed, creative, and kind, but she is more of a wildcard! Kelly has actually been one of my kindest brides. I had to ask where she was originally from because I knew it couldn’t be New England! And of course, it was the Midwest. They both have hearts of gold and make everyone around them laugh.

Kelly and Peter’s number one goal for their big day was to make sure all of their guests enjoyed themselves. This was for sure accomplished. There were so many tears and so much laughter from all their guests. These two were so excited to share Boston with their closest family and friends. The whole day had this classic Boston feel to it.
