Hiring a wedding photographer is more than just choosing someone's photos you like best. Establishing a relationship and feeling a close connection is of vital importance. The trust you put in your photographer to capture your treasured memories and individual personalities is an intimate experience.
Getting to know my couples is so important to me because it brings forth the most authentic photographs that are completely YOU. I love all the details that go into planning, and I want to be a part of your process!
What's included in the KB experience:
The KB Wedding Magazine
This magazine has all the information you need for getting the most out of your experience with your photographer. It includes everything from how to prep for your engagement photos, to your wedding day timeline, to your end products and how to use your web gallery.
A Client Portal will be assigned to you when you book your wedding. This website will have all your photography documents in one place. You can reference your client portal at any time to look at your wedding contract, invoice, vendor list, and calendar.
Facebook Community Group for the Bride
You will have the opportunity to be a part of the KB Photography Facebook group after you book your wedding. This group is a community setting where you can ask questions, hear from other brides, and obtain resources you didn't even know you needed!
Sneak Peek and Blog Post
Katherine posts a sneak peek photograph on Facebook the day after every wedding. A blog post sharing highlights of the day is also shared a week or two after the wedding.
Web Gallery of Digital Photos
When your wedding photos have been finished, you will receive a web gallery with your digital photos. In this gallery, there will be an option to download photos; purchase prints, canvases, and cards. This gallery will NEVER be taken down, so there isn't a worry about losing the photos!
Katherine includes the option to add a mini-boudoir session the morning of your wedding day. Once hair and makeup are complete, a few moments are set aside to capture you in your "almost married" attire. These photos are optional and can be as traditional or intimate as you prefer. To see examples of these photos, go to the "Portfolio" link to "Boudoir".
Every KB collection includes an engagement session, to provide the chance for you to become acquainted with Katherine and be more at ease in front of the camera. Photos should capture your unique connection as a couple, and the engagement session is beginning of this process.
Every couple's timeline looks a little different on their wedding day. For example, some couples choose to do a "first look" and "family formals" before the ceremony, while others have more than one location they need to coordinate. Katherine will help put together the timeline, and go over how many hours of shooting necessary for the day.
Vendor Recommendations & Discounts
Katherine works with many preferred vendors and would love to share her favorites with you. Some other vendors even offer a discount for being a KB bride upon booking with them!
Katherine is a hybrid photographer; this means she shoots her photographs in both digital and film formats. If you love the aesthetic of film and are interested in having Katherine shoot a few rolls on your wedding day, let her know. With natural light permitting, she will discuss with you the possibility of incorporating it into your wedding day.
