Hiring a wedding photographer is more than just choosing someone's photos you like best. You are with your photographer through your engagement session and throughout your wedding day, so establishing a relationship and feeling a close connection is of vital importance. The trust you put in your photographer to capture your treasured memories and individual personalities is an intimate experience.
One of Katherine's greatest passions is weddings and all that comes with them. She loves all the details that go into the planning, and getting to know her couples. Katherine's personality serves as a calming presence so you can feel comfortable and at ease. She believes her honest desire to know all of her couples brings forth the most authentic, captivating photographs.
The KB Wedding Magazine
This magazine has all the information you need for getting the most out of your experience with your photographer. It includes everything from how to prep for your engagement photos, to your wedding day timeline, to your end products and how to use your web gallery.
A Client Portal will be assigned to you when you book your wedding. This website will have all your photography documents in one place. You can reference your client portal at any time to look at your wedding contract, invoice, vendor list, and calendar.
Facebook Community Group for the Bride
You will have the opportunity to be a part of the KB Photography Facebook group after you book your wedding. This group is a community setting where you can ask questions, hear from other brides, and obtain resources you didn't even know you needed!
Sneak Peek and Blog Post
Katherine posts a sneak peek photograph on Facebook the day after every wedding. A blog post sharing highlights of the day is also shared a week after the wedding.
Web Gallery of Digital Photos
When your wedding photos have been finished, you will receive a web gallery with your digital photos. In this gallery, there will be an option to download photos; purchase prints, canvases, and cards. This gallery will NEVER be taken down, so there isn't a worry about losing the photos!
Katherine includes the option of a mini-boudoir session the morning of your wedding day. Once hair and makeup are complete, a few moments are set aside to capture you in your "almost married" attire. These photos are optional and can be as traditional or intimate as you prefer. To see examples of these photos, go to the "Portfolio" link to "Boudoir".
Every KB collection includes an engagement session, to provide the chance for you to become acquainted with Katherine and be more at ease in front of the camera. Photos should capture your unique connection as a couple, and the engagement session is beginning of this process.
Every couple's timeline looks a little different on their wedding day. For example, some couples choose to do a "first look" and "family formals" before the ceremony, while others have more than one location they need to coordinate. Katherine will help put together the timeline, and go over how many hours of shooting necessary for the day.
In addition to the web gallery, a USB drive is received with all the digital photos in the final package. This should be used as another backup location for your photos.
Katherine is a hybrid photographer; this means that she creates wedding photographs in both digital and film formats. For those who prefer film over digital, she will shoot two to three rolls of film, natural light permitting.
