A little over a week ago I had the privilege of capturing the Lynch’s Boston newborn session in their beautiful home. In home newborn sessions have become some of my favorites as of late! You never know when baby is going to be a little more colicky than usual, thus why shooting at your home is much easier for your new little family. In the comfort of your own place we are able to take our time  prepping and shooting without rushing. You have everything you need right at your finger tips in case baby is hungry or needs burping. This helps me get those photos of your baby when their sleepy and happy, and allows for parents to feel more at ease when shooting.

Michelle and Danny were wonderful to work with at their Boston newborn session. Michelle contacted me about a newborn session the week her and Danny brought little Liam home from the hospital. We set up a date and I drove up to their home in Melrose. They are right in the middle of renovating their whole home while welcoming Liam into the world. I admire these two for all their hard work in the midst of having a new addition to their family!

Liam is such a beautiful baby boy with the most kissable little lips and cheeks. Both mom and dad were so patient and gentle with him, rocking him right to sleep. Once we got Liam into a deep sleep we placed him in a little basket right in front of his nursery windows. These were some of my favorite moments. Just look at his little features!

For those parents welcoming a new baby into the world keep reading! As a Boston Newborn Photographer I recently created my Bump to Baby Collections.  With these collections we capture your maternity photos, your in-home newborn photos, and your baby at 1 years old. Click here to take a look at some examples of these sessions, and please get in touch if you are interested in setting up a session!
