As of late I have really been enjoying capturing new little families as a Boston Newborn Photographer. My style of work is very romantic and natural. I feel the delicate nature of newborns, and that gentle touch you have with your baby is portrayed beautifully with this style of photography. Capturing the relationship between baby, mommy and daddy has become one of my favorite things. So much that I have created a Bump to Baby Collection for new families! With these collections we capture your maternity photos, your in-home newborn photos, and your baby at 1 years old. This blog post is featuring one of my in-home newborn sessions.
Brooke-Lyn and Rohan have been so lovely to work with! They live in Saratoga Springs and travel often. Brooke-Lyn is a blogger herself, and found me on Instagram just last year. Check her blog out here. She got in touch with me when her and Rohan were planning a trip to Boston. We decided to do a couple styled, editorial shoots while they were here. Check out our Boston Public Garden shoot here. We had a blast, and from there I knew we would keep in touch. Fast forward about one year later and baby Everly was born.
As a Boston Newborn Photographer we decided to start with a few photos in Boston with the cherry blossoms, and then ended with an in-home photo shoot. We even got to feature Lacey and Pixie in a few shots; their little pups! The puppies were so curious of Everly. She is the sweetest little thing, and just as delicate as she looks. This little family is so photogenic, I can’t take it! I loved watching how gentle and loving Brooke and Rohan were with Everly.Of course, Everly is used to posing for the camera now, since mommy is a blogger!
Each opportunity I get to capture intimate life moments like these makes swoon for more. This enjoyment has come with a little bit of a shock to me. I didn’t grow up around babies, so the first newborn photo shoot I ever did a few years back was a bit scary! It opened my heart up though, and I want more.
