This post contains all you need to know about ordering your wedding albums through me! Luxury albums tell your wedding story and last forever. The high-grade, lay-flat albums are made of beautiful linen with thick, quality pages. Preserving your memories in product form is so important! I still remember as a young girl, flipping through my mother and father’s wedding album and being enamored by seeing the young love of my parents on their wedding day.
Quality and Design:
Flush-mount means that the photographic print runs to the edge and is flush with the borders of each page. The albums are mounted on thick card-stock, which provides durability for years to come. The pages lay perfectly flat, creating a seamless spread.
These high-grade, lay-flat albums are made of beautiful linen with thick, quality pages. I design with an album company exclusive to photographers. These books are not comparable to those that can be purchased from Shutterfly or Artifact Uprising, for example. They are luxurious albums that stand the test of time.
Best Time to Order:
Album orders are typically made within two months after your wedding day. During the winter and spring seasons, I devote much of my time to designing albums.Choosing the Photos:
The first step in the album process is choosing the photos. I will send an email that provides a link where you can choose the photos. The twenty-page spread-album allows for fifty photos. Should you decide to add more spreads to the album, we will discuss the appropriate amount of photos.
Creating the Design:
Within the next couple of weeks following your selections, I will create a mock-up design of your album. At that juncture you will have two rounds of edits to the design. Once you “love” your design, I will send it to my album company to be crafted: it then takes four-to-five weeks to be produced.
Since it takes approximately three months to design, print, and ship the album, I strongly urge you to be decisive and responsive along the way. I allow a twelve week window to complete each album, and if you have not made your final decisions, your album will be archived, and you will have to wait for other projects to be completed before I can return to work on yours.
